New Clients
Bringing your child in for their first speech-language therapy session can feel daunting and overwhelming. It’s a new space for you, them, and your whole family. Our goal is to make this experience, comfortable, easy, and enjoyable for everyone involved. Here is a quick overview of what the process of speech-language therapy will look like for your family:
Contact Molly for a free phone consultation using the online contact form.
During the phone consultation, Molly will listen to your concerns, briefly answer questions, and learn about your child’s speech, language, and social interactions to determine the next steps to best support your child.
If you would like to work with Molly, schedule one of the following appointments: a brief screening, formal evaluation, or the first therapy session (*Children who have had a formal speech and/or language evaluation within the past 6 months may not need another evaluation and will likely begin the first therapy session immediately).
Before the first appointment, you will receive an email to complete intake forms. Please allow 20-30 minutes to complete these forms.
Meet at our first appointment either in person at the determined location or online via telepractice.
Schedule ongoing appointments.
Work together, celebrate progress, and meet your child’s communication goals.
